Description
In this course, Jason will teach you all about Brazilian Drumming. Jason will explain the difference between Samba and Bossa Nova and how they work together. Jason will also teach you numerous drum patterns between the two styles that will lead up to learning how to improvise in a musical way.
Objectives
- Learn the history of Bossa Nova and Samba and its various uses of percussion instruments.
- Understanding the importance of all the key drum patterns in order to play the genre fluently.
- Learn the importance of improvisation.
- Understanding how to put Samba and Bossa Nova all together.
